Mare Meadows Farm is a full‑service horseback riding lesson, boarding and training barn in Sanford, NC, conveniently located about 30 minutes from Raleigh, 40 minutes from Fort Bragg, and 35 minutes from Southern Pines. We offer English riding lessons and horsemanship for all levels, ages 5 and up.
Our experienced instructors and safe lesson horses teach true horsemanship from the ground up, along with solid riding skills. We offer private lessons for one‑on‑one coaching at your pace, plus small semi‑private lessons—never large groups—so every rider gets personal attention and support toward their own goals. We also provide full‑care stall and pasture boarding with training options, and a covered arena so riders and boarders can enjoy consistent riding all year round.
Our Facility
We provide a sanctuary for dedicated riders. Our facility features 15 spacious stalls, each equipped with individual fans for maximum airflow and comfort. Direct access to our beautiful covered arena ensures you can train year-round, regardless of the weather. Whether you're a first-time rider or an advanced competitor, our professional care and amenities are designed to support your growth and safety.
